As part of the AGROWN 2025 conference, I had the honor of serving as the Coordinator of WORKSHOP 1, held in Room 1, titled:
“Marketing Tools for Reducing Food Waste, Enhancing Sustainability, and Protecting Biodiversity in Aquaculture.”
Along with Marios Gkikas and University John Theodorou, we presented the potential of digital technologies and marketing strategies to minimize food waste, promote sustainability, and safeguard biodiversity within the aquaculture sector.
Participation in AGROWN 2025 highlighted the dynamic presence of the University of Patras and the Department of Fisheries and Aquaculture in advancing innovation, sustainability, and responsible entrepreneurship, reinforcing their role as a hub of scientific excellence and social contribution.
