The Best Way To Do Something, Is Start Doing It.

Hi, I am Dimitris Gkikas and this is my space!

I am a professional informatics engineer keen on e-business and e-commerce analytics, a nature lover and a sportsman. Since I was a child I have been focusing on technology, marine life and sports. I love music, photography and paint works. I am explicitly interested in nature and animal welfare.

Over the last years I have been focusing on artificial intelligence, e-business strategy, machine learning, data mining, data analysis, SEO, organics results, web design, user experience, and social media performance in the private and academic sector.

I am currently working as a lecturer in information technology applications at Athens University of Economics and Business. I am also conducting research in AI applications in bioeconomy at School of Agriculture Sciences at University of Patras.

There is no easy walk to freedom anywhere, and many of us will have to pass through the valley of the shadow of death again and again before we reach the mountaintop of our desires.

Well,

Since you have been able to come this far to see this photo it means a lot!
It means that you are here, NOW. You are alive, your life goes on and you must appreciate it.
It means that your life has brought you to this moment, to this day, to this situation. Since you have managed to come so far, you are about to witness greater days.
It means that all the other lives you could possibly have lived have been erased either by accident, by choice, by chance or something Greater.
There are numerous factors that determine your future. You can only affect a small portion of these factors. However, you must DO YOUR BEST.

You are left with this life. You are here for a reason. Don't waste it. Make the best decisions!

Some people including scientists believe that the choices we make determine our lives.
During our lives we make billions of decisions and choices. How likely do you think is for you to be here again, the same place, same spot, same job, same ideas?
I would say that it is highly unlike or impossible!

I have not yet understood how football fans usually say, "We won 3-0 but we would have scored 1 more goal if the penalty was scored".
Life choices constantly change, and every moment is defined by the outcomes of the past actions.

So, what are the factors that affect our decisions and how we can have greater impact on our lives?
Unlike chess where the rules, moves and domain are finites, human action domain is infinite!

Using Artificial Intelligence scientists try to define what can be defined. Weighted information, factors, sets of rules, classify, optimize, cluster and associate data.

Through a series of various artificial intelligence, machine learning, SERPs, SEO, social media marketing and AI ethical perspectives, I'll try to break down technology meanings and concepts.

Stay tuned!

The Way We Search Defines The Way We Live

Traveling Salesman Problem - A Lifechanging Game

Find The Best Possible Option

Given a list of objectives and the efforts needed between each one of the objectives, what is the shortest possible effort that is needed to accomplish each objective?

The Traveling Salesman Problem (TSP) is a mathematical problem that asks the question: "Given a list of cities and the distances between them, what is the shortest possible route that visits each city exactly once and returns to the starting city?"

The TSP is a classic example of a combinatorial optimization problem, and its solution has important practical applications in fields such as transportation, logistics, and manufacturing.

The concept of the TSP can also be applied metaphorically to the way we approach problem-solving and decision-making in our daily lives. Just as the TSP asks us to find the most efficient route between multiple points, our approach to searching for information and solutions can shape the way we navigate our lives.

If we approach problems with a narrow, linear mindset, we may miss out on alternative perspectives and creative solutions. Conversely, if we approach problems with an open-minded, exploratory mindset, we may discover unexpected connections and possibilities.

In this sense, the TSP serves as a reminder that the way we search defines the way we live, and that the paths we choose can have a significant impact on the outcomes we achieve.
